If I wire for 4-wire, is there any danger if equipment is incorrectly
patched i.e. network to phone.

If wiring using 568B, Use the blue pair for an analog (2-wire) phone,

4-wire digital services,

That way, you can use off-the-shelf convertor tails to go from your
CAT5
wall sockets to a standrd BT phone plug.

What pins/pairs did you use for the phone line? I presume you just
used a single pair? Did you also run the ringer wire?
