Sorry for the OT post. Grrrr..... I foolishly installed a
download
accelerator called FreshDownload, attached it to netscape and it worked
fine. Except that it was a bit unstable and crashed the machine a
dozen
times. So I uninstalled it, deleted all the files and directories
where
it lived, edited all references to it from the registry and its now a
dead parrot.
Except that Netscape still thinks its there and tries to use it to
download stuff, fails and then won't download on its own. I re-installed
netscape, and it hasn't helped. Where do I look next? - I'm
running
W98 and netscape 7
