Useful link. It's not very specific about the chipset, but what there is
indicates that it may be supported as an ATA-133 controller. Apparently
this card uses the CMD (Silicon Image) chipset. According to http://www.linux-ide.org/chipsets.html
, CMD's SiI680 and CMD680
chipsets are supported as ATA-133 controllers by linux, as are CMD's
lower-specced controllers. It looks like there's a good chance this card
will work as an ATA (but not RAID) controller under linux. But that's no
guarantee.
