Hi Frank,
Can you post some close-up pictures of Tx/Rx units, with marked receiver and
Leds that need to be moved.
Basically, instructions how to mount it on blanking plate. I can't imagine
that I'm the only one interested in mounting them permanently on the wall.
Am I right in thinking that Tx anr Rx units are combined into single unit
and connected with single RJ45 to controller?
What are zone splitters? Are they used if you want to put more Tx/Rx units
into same zone?

          Yes there would be some desoldering required if mounting the pcbs
  onto blanking plates......You can get some stick on standoffs to hold the
  pcb...Also the ir receiver is located at one end so it may require some
  surgery as well....
