I have a MemoZap from www.pacelink.co.uk to get rid of the bloody red
dot.... I'll interactive you in a minute Sky One.....! The MemoZap also
recovers from the crashes where you end up in the interactive menus as
opposed to the ones where it switches off completely.

I also use the Grundig 2106 (or whatever the number is!) codes which do
the wake up box first.... the only problem is, like I say, working out a
time frame which will 100% be safe to reboot the box.... ie a time
during the day or night when I can guarantee 7 days a week that I won't
be Tivoing something from the Sky dodgybox.... Once I find that safe
time, I'm laughing :)

So far I think I've lost about 4 or 5 recordings, none particularly
important ones, due to the sky box crashing, in almost 2 months of Tivo
usage..... Right, thats my task for the weekend :)
