i have put a few in there so when i do nslookup on
the ip address it tells me the domain BUT i still get
mail returned. is there a port i need to open
to allow the reverse lookup ?

      Create a reverse zone for 192.168.0 (0.168.192.in-addr.arpa) or whatever
      your network range is, then add some pointer records.
     
      Basically what your aiming to do is type nslookup and then type the machine
      name and it should return the ip address, now if you type the ip address it
      should return the machine name.
