Scott,
Be careful whether you're comparing like-for-like.
Srewfix patch panels are 19". B&Q ones tend to be the 10"
domestic
format.

Indeed, the B&Q warehouses have a reasonable range in
stock (at least, Coventry does)
In fact I seem to remember the
prices being less than Screwfix for such things as patch
panels...

They do sell it on the web,
and at some of the larger stores.
It's still a trial range at the
moment, so not in that many stores.

Whilst we're on the subject of ranting
about
B&Q (constructively, of course Mark....), why do they not sell any
Cat5/datacomms gear? I'd have though that the sales of this
stuff
have gone up significantly over the past couple of years (as
evidenced
by Screwfix now selling it), but the chappy at my local
B&Q said that all they sell is phone
cable....
