Re: Electronics question

Hi Justin
It means that you get a 4k7 resistor and connect one side to a terminal called gnd (ground or 0v) and the other leg of the resistor to the analogue input. The ground pin is pin 5 on the db9 plug. They sat it stops channel bleed which i think means signal leakage from one channel to another .Some neat looking devices here.

Subject: [ukha_d] Electronics question

I am thinking of getting one of these:
http://www.controlanything.com/cgi-bin/miva?Merchant2/merchant.mv+Screen=PRO
D&Store_Code=NCD&Product_Code=NCD205 as it looks like quite a nifty way of
getting data into HomeSeer.
The data sheet says all inputs should be tied low with a 4.7K resistor. What
does that mean?

Cheers,
Justin.
