SteveD, I shall let you know if we try this one - credit where it's
due.

The additional IP address suggestion from AndyL is another 
fantastic plan.

Thanks guys, you've given me some further hope which is just what 
I need in my pit of despair right now. So many HA projects I had in 
mind were hanging on this ADSL application.
