Ooh.... DVD-ripper / DIVX encoder ????

Simply add DVD-drive and go?

Can anyone recommend some good software... the advantage of +that+ use is that the box could remain in the office...

How about:

- video compression - bet that beastie would make light work of it!
- Terminal services server for a few dozen touchscreen PC's
- income generator ;-) - sell them to list members to raise enough dosh for
some loverly new toys... (LA-Z-BOY anyone?)
