VOIP - how easy?  I've got a spare laptop and cat5 into the lounge, so what
would I need to do??

If the answer's long then it's probably too complicated for me, but I thought
I'd ask...!

A third, often overlooked solution, is the use of wireless mics or voice over
IP. The former is available off the shelf, the latter requires a bit of
integration and assumes the availability of IPaq, Epod, laptop or similar -
but ultimately provides a lot more flexibility.
