Re: How to crimp RJ45 plug?
Thanks Stuart,
I have the colour coding straight I just couldn't figure out how to
fix the plugs on without a tool. Guess I'm going to have to fork out
for one. I should also get an IDC tool for the back of the sockets so
I'm looking at this page http://www.tlc-
direct.co.uk/Main_Index/Computer_Accessories_Index/Computer_RJ45/index
.html and wondering if CXTOOL and GPT107 are the right things to get.
I've read some posts about IDC tools with different heads so I'm not
sure if this one is OK for the RJ45 wall sockets. Any advice?
Stuart C.
