I done the Direct Access a few years back and found the guy who run the
course to be very good, he doesn't do quick fix courses, the lessons are
spread out over a two week period rather than the crash type courses ( not
that type of crash :-) ). I think the problem with the middle aged bikers is
more from the ones who took their test years ago on older machines who the
buy a knee scraper and can go straight out after not riding for maybe 20
years, they haven't even done their CBT.
