RE: FW: Symantec - Virus Warning Bulletin

Okily dokily.

The government recently changed the rules so I can buy cars without
paying any VAT on them (the first thing that they have done that I agree
with in the last five years)

Because BMW are playing the "Morgan game" with the M3 and artificically
restricting supply (so there is a one year plus waiting list), cars that
are 12 months old with less than 10K miles on them are changing hands at
list.

I will be able to run my car for a year and then swap it for a new one
and put money in the bank:)

Try doing that with a Scooby, or that other Jap car you're so fond of
whose name escapes me at present ;-)

Tim.

I have to say that I don't think I would ever buy a brand new car -
apart from the fact that there is absolutely nothing out there in the
way of new stuff that I like (at least not in the price range I can
afford and a couple of multiples above) there is the depreciation which
is quite horrendous and the fact that I would rather someone else had
the hassle of ironing the bugs out of a new car first (leaking door and
window seals etc.)
