I use mdaemon with Outlook on a PC

This gives :-

1) only provided by outlook, but works well with ipaq, etc

2) about 100USD perhaps less

3) gets for me from pop3, another mdaemon on another server via smtp
yahoo and others

4) basic 6 accounts but up to 100's

5) works well as a command source, you tell it special addresses and it
will run programmes and pass arguments from your email into the program
you have selected to run, of course its password protected.

Also provides you with a very nice web front-end for a in built web mail
client which works on IE, it also allows for spell check and integration
with RelayFax so you can construct a email message which is converted
into a fax. More details from www.deerfield.com if you want to buy
contact me off list I am a uk distributor for it I am sure I can
undercut the states
