Re: OT Fridge with drawers

I have a tens machine supplied by the hospital for arthritis and I must
admit it is very good, apart form having to shave off some body hair to get
a decent contact. The different pulse modes are very useful to blast joints
to get them moving or to try and absorb the pain.

Probably the be £15 I ever spent was for an electric heatpad which I use
every night. So much so I am buying another for for my hips. The first pad
is used around my head/neck/jaw to try and stop the joints seizing. It does
work well.

Ian

Forgive me if I am preaching to the converted, but have you ever looked
into
using a TENS machine?

"I have a spinal problem which means from time to time, I get episodes
of
blootering pain in my lower back, and bending down to get into the back of
the fridge is a real trial of endurance.. "how much do I *really* want
a
bacon sarnie....""

My wife suffers from Arthritis in her back, and she now uses a TENS machine
to control the pain rather than pain killers, as it has none of the side
effects of drugs. I think it was the best £50 we ever spent!
