Thanks Ray, unfortunately none of the suggestions worked, but after
searching for hours on various sites I re installed W2K SP2 and all is well
again!
What is the point when installing a program that asks if you want to keep a
newer version of a file then promptly over rights it anyway?
So now I have my server up and running but the laptop has stopped talking
to
the server again......
Maybe I can either run the server or the WiFi but not both at the same
time.....
I shall try again tomorrow.
