Another night - another problem

I have installed the v3 software made available this afternoon and now I
can't use my fingers to logon.  I have installed both the options the
installation program offers (I think drivers and program) but now everytime
I try to enroll fingerprints I get "The system cannot enroll your
fingerprints because the domain MYDOMAIN does not support Biometrics
services".
I am running Win2kAS and have run out of things to try.  I have reinstalled
- uninstalled - installed, all to no avail.

Anyone out there running a server version able to help or even shed some
light on this?
