Yeah, I'd have to agree, I also signed up 2 weeks ago and I've been
impressed with the way they have handled the probs over the last couple of
days. I was going to go for the Asus but ended up going for the speedtouch
510, no problems so far, just had a quick look and I've been connected for
12 days 7 hours so far.

I have been with Pipex for a week now, been impressed with them as a
company.
There have been some issues for performance but these have been
resolved (not unsurprising given the recent surge in demand following
the price cut).
Have a look at www.adslguide.org.uk, great site full of usefull info.
The ASUS is a good box, does everything most people need except VPN
(which I needed for work so I bought an Alcatel SpeedTouch 510).
