Not too worrying ...
....the TiVo is mainly a PC (albeit based upon a power PC core) and that
is almost silent.
I also have a couple of old low spec DELL PCs (a P133 - which IIRC I
gave away - and a P266) which I kept because they ran silent without
ever overheating!
