Hi all

I was reading the thread earlier about the GJD exterior PIR sensors
for lighting control.

I'm planning an exterior lighting systen with the following
requirements :-

-After dark PIR detection (3 zones)
-Manual over ride
-Audiable alert for some PIR zones
-Lighting switching for 3 zones

My plan is for the following setup all controlled by Comfort :

GJD PIR sensors -Wired to- Comfort alarm panel
Exterior Halogens -Wired to- DIN X10 module to MAINS

On looking at the GJD website I see they do dedicated lighting
controllers - specifically the Solitaire (4 Zone model).

Questions :

-Will Comfort meet my lighting controlling requirements?
-Would switching the lights via X10 cause a noticable extra delay
between detection and switching?
-Would using a dedicated lighting controller like the GJD Solitaire
be a better solution?

Any thoughts/issues/answers will be gratefully received before I open
the wallet!

Thanks

Tom
