Or indeed Girder can be set up the same way.

But all of these solutions require a client which you might not reasonably
expect to find on any PC you come across...

Whereas given time, the MSN IM client will become more and more common, to
the point of becoming ubiquitous....

Besides.... "Because you can" is the best reason I can think of
for doing
something like this!!
