I have loads of Compaq gear, in fact nearly everything I use is
Compaq, as it IS the most reliable equipment out there, which is why
there is a price premium.

Feel free to ask me offlist any questions about Compaq equipment.

Ebay is a good source, and they seem to have quite a few Proliant
3000 models which are a very good medium class server.

Proliant 1600 and 1850 are both reliable servers, although I
personally prefer the 3000 along with more space for a DLT drive, and
also the Integrated Management display etc.

Anyway, the offer is there if you want to e-mail me.

Cheers
Geraint.
