Ok, I've had a go at building a TTL level shifter for my Powermax alarm
using this guide:
http://www.compsys1.com/workbench/On_top_of_the_Bench/Max233_Adapter/max233_
adapter.html
I couldn't get it to work and there is only so much agro I can put up with
to save £60.
So, I have 3 MAX233 chips left (2 x surface mount, 1 x plugin) if anyone
wants them.
They were free samples so I wouldn't want anything for them.

Mail me off list if you are interested.

Cheers,

Justin.
