sad git that I am, I have often wanted to watch one as the clocks change for BST to see it go into overdrive.
 
One sat and watched German teletext for the New Year to see the year change......

Whoops ! looked through several of the channels and they had the same bug. The BBC successfully handled the transition into a new year as you would expect. (wether it happened at the scheduled time is another matter!)
 
Dont change the battery during July as the rugby transmitter goes off the air for maintenance :-)

Radio controlled wall clock from the likes of argos etc? - I assume you just want it to display current uk time as opposed to some arbitrary time set on your server.
