The ZyWall 10 is relatively cheap and a competent firewall for not much
money.  For less money, any of the prestige or netgear boxes that do NAT
will act as an adequate barrier.  Needs an ADSL presentation with ethernet,
single address will do fine.

Anything using a PC running as a router is going to be hassle.  Probably
for
you, when it goes wrong :-)
