As an intermediate step, whilst my Comfort
cannot
be easily programmed (pc in other room), I have dismantled an X10 Appliance
Module and wired it in paralle to my electronic timer.

Theoretically this allow the timer to control
2 set
events during the day/night, and the X10 via remote can be used at any
other
time.
Unfortunately, sometimes, when heating is on
(timer), it appears to switch the AM10 to ON, meaning the heating
stays
on.....
Also if the timer is on and the x10 is
switched
off...(with or without pressing on), the x10 module will click 4 or 5 times
and
remain ON, requiring the timer to be switched OFF before the x10 unit will
respond properly to the OFF command.
I will remove the timer soon, but anyone any
ideas
to prevent this switching, or even any thoughts why this is
so......
