I!/ve been toying with the idea of what to do with Sky+ over the last few weeks. As node 0 for me is a broom cupboard directly behind the Home Cinema installation, that is where Sky+ is going (thanks Phil for the idea of using a optical to coax converter for the digital out).

To anyone who has Sky+ is there any real benefit to being able to see the front panel?

Tim.

I thought it was possible to easily remove just the front panel, I don!/t think you even need any tools.

Hadn!/t followed it through as my stuff is already Black and Silver and it will all go into Node Zero when I build it.

      Regards

          Erm... please don't do that..

If you want to spray paint the case, then there's a _bit_ more to it than "point and shoot." :-)

.... like, removing the innards, blanking off the vents, then spraying, then drying for 24 hours, then re-assembling :-)

If you do this, let me know how it works...

          Regards,

          Mark

Well... The powerhouse delivery van called at my house this morning with a
                  nice shiney silver tivo !
Didnt want to set it up straight away in case i shagged summat up and
wouldnt be able to watch the England game.

SWMBO came home from work, saw the silver box and took an imediate dislike
to it (All our other tv/hifi/sat stuff is black)

So looks like ill have to buy a new tv, video, sat box, and dvd player in
silver just to keep the peace (anyone seem a silver sky box ?)

Found a 32"widescreen tv, video, dvd player and dolby surround system in
                  silver here

                  http://www.tesco.com/Electrical/browse.asp?type=Item&typeid=6637395
comments ?? and good, seems to be quite reasonable in price, my last TV cost
me !L1500 and its only a 28" nicam

Fekin list is costing me a fortune :O(
