Re: Tivo to Projector help needed

Pedro,

I havent unpacked mine yet but....

TiVO only outputs RGB or PAL.

A SCART to S-Video ADAPTOR is purely a pin conversion device to
change from an S-Video enabled SCART to a S-video Minidin and Phonos.

It DOES NOT perform any standards conversion. Also the adaptors
usually have a switch to change between SCART IN and SCART OUT. If
your adaptor doesent have a switch you have an INPUT type adapter.

Despite the TiVo not having an S-Video output you should still get a
black and white picture. if the adapter was the correct type.

If you want to run the projector as S-Video you need an RGB to S-
Video converter from John Sims at http://www.rgbtosvideo.com in the
meantime you could run as Composite video if your projector has the
required input.
