I'm pretty new on this group and am still learning much but so far I would
say
that I have not ever encountered a better group of dudes (not yet
encountered
any dudettes).

It would seem to me that anyone co-ordinating a bulk buy is doing so
because he
is a part of the group and has the best of intentions as far as getting a
good
deal for the group is concerned.  He is not out to turn a buck !

In addition, I'm sure it takes some effort in the co-ordination and as such
I
see no problem in a modest reward for that effort.  At the end of the
day, we
can all decide whether we want to participate or not and like many other
things
we can hit the big off button if we are not happy.

The only point I would make is that disclosure that some profit will be
made
would be important for me to know.

My 2 Euros !

I have been contacted by a member of the list asking me for guidelines
on
Bulk Buys.   He is concerned that a private individual making a
profit on a
bulk buy is really no different to any other dealer advertising on this
list.

My answer is that no one is forcing anyone to take part in any bulk buy
and
it would be very hard to "enforce" any guidelines.

What do others think?
