The whole Tivo vs. SS business

On a lighter note, I've only just realised that all you hardened PC
enthusiasts who give nice cuddly mac users like myself a hard time have
been
fiercely recommending Power PC (like a mac) boxes running Linux (a sort
of
unix, like Mac OS X). I like that.

My new Tivo, having performed stunningly this evening (bar coming home
to
find it had been trying to record box office movies and I was down to
my
last PIN choice before barring - my fault for dumbly selecting them in
"channels I watch" - I know...) is now upping itself to 2.5.5,
and it says
it'll take a long time...so I'm off to bed.
