Very weird, im pretty sure its related to my DECT phone interfering and
the Z420-UK adapter seems to block the interference.

I'm using the Solwise filter thus, and have no problems:

Solwise
BT Master Socket ---- splitter
(in loft)
------------------------------extension
wiring to all
phone points
including TiVo
