I'm on 2k but I'll find out in a few minutes what'll happen. Suppose I
could adjust my PC time though to speed up the process!

The other possibility is the Natural Voice config file, wherever it
was installed:

F:\ATTNaturalVoices\TTS1.3\Desktop\data

In the tts.cfg file there is the following line for both the Crystal and
Mike voices:

VoiceDefault            true

This was the setting for each after I installed it. When I've been
fiddling with the engine directly I can configure it by setting either
the Crystal or Mike voices to true but set the other value to false.
Save the file and away we go.

Maybe???? Not at all sure.
