RE: [OT] Baby monitor picking up "hum"
Your first comment seems to stack up with my experiences in that the
hum
gets worse the longer the unit is on (up to a point). It's better again
when
we first turn it on the following evening. Ours is about 2 & half yrs
old
(care to guess how old my daughter is ? ;-)) and is analogue I believe.
I haven't tried changing channels but will give it a go as both you &
Neil
have suggested.
Thanks anyway,
Tim H.

I'm getting that of late too Tim. For some reason unplugging for a
few hrs
and plugging in again does the trick.
It's a digital one with 20 channels to choose from & I get the problem
on
all channels.
Has worked fine for 18 months or so and hasn't been moved to be any
nearer
to mains cables etc.
I though these digital ones were supposed to be immune from interference
:(
