So, has anyone tried to automate a cat flap? I know
you can get the electronic ones that only allow your
cats in and out through use of collars. What I want
to do is to link a catflap to HomeVision so that it
only allows them in and out during the day but
then only allows them in (not out) about an hour
before dusk or around rush hour.

Any thoughts? I was thinking of whether the standard
electrical cat flap could be hacked to always allow
them in, but only allow out when the power was
connected - anyone who has one got any comments?

Cheers.

Bov!
