There are definite rules here that you MUST follow.

You are allowed to run ONE double socket from and existing socket that is part of a ring main - this is called a 'spur'.

You cannot run a spur from a spur.

The exception to this rule is if you FUSE the spur first - you can then run=
as many sockets as you like beyond the fuse.

Cable should be 2.5 sq mm twin and earth.
