does anyone know of a good ripper (free if possible)
that will connect to cddb and not freedb (which is crap)

      If you download music, or rip from cddb
without any checking, then yes, your
      tags *can* contain rubbish. Other than that,
they work fine.

      is great.
      I have routinely used to to tag and rename
several thousand MP3s at once.
      (about 220Gb worth in total)
