RE: SWMBO getting more compliant!!

Oh yes.  I clicked on a couple of the other links and saw normal looki= ng
speakers.
Should have checked out all the links I guess - just no time to do so :(
Those prices are per speaker btw, not per pair.

Mine are currently out of commission due to:
a/ Pants weather so no real outdoor opportunities :(
b/ Patio been refurbished & they were in the way
c/ stoopid gardner either pointed one at the sky and it pissed it, or he wa= s
messing about
   spraying water at one of them - either way it ended up full of= water.
Have drained it, but
   not yet willing to plug it in.  Really need to break the = seal and look
inside I guess.

These things are designed to sit outside all the time, but not to have wate= r
pelting the front grille.  Hopefully is okay though.

Sound wise, they are quite clear, though a tad too trebly for my liking. Really need sub methinks.  Plus, location is not great (patio enclosed= on 3
sides) so tendancy
to get sound bouncing around.
I've tried turning the speakers away from the listening position, which
takes the edge off the
treble, but loses clarity - and required greater volume has greater tendanc= y
to p*ss off the
neighbours :->

Having said that, they do sound a lot better than I expected them to and they don't look out of place.
