Sorry, no I meant that using it as a conventional dial up to an ISP would
not authenticate.  This being an issue with many ISPs I have tried and
WinCE/PocketPC and various Modems (LandLines) and Phones (Mobiles).

I have yet to look at the GPRS feature.
