RE: Splitting serial cable?

Dear Justin,
Why not use linux if you have two machines, then you don't have to worry
about it crashing :D.

Adios,

Lee Edward Causier.

Subject: [ukha_d] Splitting serial cable?

e.g. 1 CM12U connected to 2 PC's using a homebrew Y type cable. PC A
crashes, PC B detects this and does a power cycle using an AM and vice
versa. Saves buying another CM!
I'm sure there would be some other uses for connecting 1 serial device to 2
PC's like this.

Anyone done this? Is it possible?

Cheers,
Justin.
