I don't know anything for sure but I would think this is a no no without
a
switch of some sort. The voltage levels from one PC would not like the
other
trying to force them to a level they don't want to be at. This said
switch
could be even controlled by the PC (parallel?).
How would the CM12 react to being on an RS485 network? Would it work at
all
without a PIC or similar in the loop.
Just thoughts.........
