David,

Yeh it was Simon's site that I saw these suckers on, price seems good as well !

I've also now seen optical cables advertised with lengths upto 25 Metres so my
length problem has gone away.  Me thinks I should now work on a way to get
multiple optical outputs
>from beside the CT100, Co-ax and 4 x RJ45's that are already there.

What joy !

Mark

Mark

I've got one of the these in my PC, mounted on the front panel so I can just
plug the toslink cable from it into the minidisc recorder. Works like a
dream (and has done for a few years). I got mine from Simon Corner
(http://www.sc-elec.demon.co.uk/) who was really helpful to an electronic
numbnut like me.

The home for all this sort of stuff is
http://www.minidisc.org/acc_table.html.
