Hi..

I've just joined the list....

Just wondering how many people were on here - and what type of kit is being
used.

I'm in the process of buying my first house, and intend to start automating
certain parts of it - over a period of time...

The thing is  ... I don't want to buy a h/a controller.. I want to use my
old PC... (PII-300, 128mb, 20gb HD... Awe 64 Gold... linux + win98 (using
Vmware (running windows under linux..) ..

Got lots of idea's... just not sure how to put them into practise !.

Regards,

Jonathan
