If your new to this you might want to ensure you get low profile heat sink<= BR> and RAM (or motherboard with sloping slots).

everyone seems to make those mistakes first time ;-)

A Couple of questions on this one:

How many drives can fit in this unit, cant quite tell from the pick.
Looks like 1 x 5" and 2 x 3"?
What board you got sitting in there?
Does the riser board come with the case?

The cost of theses DIY 1 & 2U cases seems expensive to me.

Is it not cheaper to buy a comapaq or dell 1U server.
Compaq's 1U P3 1133 costs < =A31000, expands to 2 x 120GB ide drives / 4GB ram ,and 2 pci slots.  There is no reason you cannot use your own<= BR> IDE drives in them.  Plus you get a 3yr next day warranty on it.
