Both units should work fine with mains halogen lights. The AWM2, being a
relay module, should work with any type of resistive load (including low
voltage halogen) up to its rated limit. There is no dimming function on
the AWM2, of course.

The LW10U is not designed to work with dimmable low-voltage lighting but
LD11 is. Some people have successfully used LW10U with dimmable
low-voltage lighting but others have tried and failed. As the unit is not
originally designed to work with that type of lighting system, we cannot
recommend the use of it for that purpose.
