just been looking around for a better price on visonic powermax than 250 +
VAT
& it seems there are problems getting the buggers - comfort.org.uk
can't
take orders due to uncertainty of supply because of the 'middle east
security
situation' and some other site I found won't take orders because of 'very
serious concerns' :-(

bit
worrying really - does this mean if I buy one, support will be non
existent?
Does
anyone else know of an alternative (available in the UK) that is a) less
expensive than comfort, b) preferably wired or c) v.reliable if wireless!!
and
d) ideally some sort of HA/X10 integration....
