All TV sets have a certain amount of leakage via the power supply. This
appears on the Aerial socket as it is one of the few exposed peices of
metal
in a TV. Whilst the leakage is quite small and shouldnt cause you to
experience a shock, the combined effect of several TV's can be quite
painful.

Satellite receivers also pack quite a punch :-(

I too have a booster/dist amp the difference with mine is it doesnt blow
trips or fuses but i do get to feel the volts when connecting the kit up!

and it hurts.........
