Much higher spec than an Epod Steve - they have a 100Mhz 586, 32 meg and a hard drive!  Should be able to install a "real" OS like 98 (Linux users - shutup).

 

On the downside they are hefty buggers at 1.7 kilos and nearly 4 cms thick.  Ideal for wall mounting maybe?

Looks good - dare I say it but how do these beasties compare to an Epods?  Similar spec / functionality without having to do as much hacking?

I could be game for 1 or 2.
