In my neverending search for the ultimate PC controller I came upon the
following IR receiver. It works with Girder ( http://www.girder.nl ) and is
available for the bargain price of £10.80 inc p&p. It is the SFH-56 by
Igor
Cesko (see http://www.cesko.host.sk/girderplugin.htm
). It comes complete
with a 1.5m serial cable (other lengths are available on request).
I've been in touch with his UK distributor ;-), someone going by the name
of
Dusan Malenka ( dusan_malenka@xxxxxxx ) and he makes and sells them. He
accepts payments in cheques and will offer a discount of £1 per additional
receiver purchased (group purchase anyone ;-) ).
