Thanks to everyone on this list who
helped me come to grips with Comfort programming, esp. Michael McAree, and
- I've now managed to alter the system so that each sensor/PIR send
out a unique X10 command, so I can pick it up with HomeSeer and action from
there. Except that....
The only problem I've encountered is
that in my Node 0 (
http://quickplaceuk.lotus.com/QuickPlace/garethcook/Main.nsf/h_Toc/E2B1151595CEA78980256A15006256CC?OpenDocument
), no X10 signals are leaving for the rest of the house - so it looks like
I may need to do some detective work, and maybe have to buy a filter -
assuming it IS an appliance and not the spur that is causing the problem.
If I plug in the Infrared to X10 unit, that can't send signals out
either.
When I plug an appliance module in next
to Comfort, the "lamp" does come on - so I know I've done the
codes correctly in Comfort.
I've put a little diagram of my x10
system up at my website (http://garethcook.com , click on X10 Layout at the
bottom) - it's simplified but shows the necessary information.
